This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.
• Create, implement, and sustain infrastructure as code (IaC) for automating deployment and management tasks.
• Optimize and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Oversee version-controlled infrastructure configurations, ensuring consistency throughout.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the entire technology stack.
• Conduct system administration duties, including server setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and manage event streaming platforms such as Amazon MSK and Apache Kafka.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance engineering tasks and boost productivity.
• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automation.
• Monitor and enhance CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment efficiency.
• Create scripts and automation tools aimed at minimizing manual tasks.
• Implement monitoring and observability tools to ensure system reliability.
• Work collaboratively with development, QA, and operations teams to facilitate a smooth development lifecycle.
• Apply security best practices and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Over 7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in scripting and automation with Bash and Python.
• Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, EKS, and MSK.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
• Direct experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and workloads.
• Hands-on experience with deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Amazon MSK and/or Apache Kafka clusters.
• Ability to effectively utilize AI-assisted tools for routine engineering tasks.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and contemporary DevOps practices.
• Proficient in Git and best practices in version control.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments; familiarity with Windows systems is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, such as Java or similar languages.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and team workflows.
