DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Operate and support production-grade Kubernetes clusters, guaranteeing high availability, stability, scalability, networking, and adherence to security best practices.

• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and facilitate postmortem processes to promote ongoing operational enhancements.

• Maintain and support CI/CD and release pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

• Support Infrastructure as Code environments with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm, ensuring consistency and reliability across different environments.

• Assist in GitOps-based deployments with Argo CD, ensuring seamless and predictable releases.

• Maintain observability and alerting systems with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki/ELK, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Substantial production experience with Google Cloud Platform, encompassing Compute Engine, GKE, networking, IAM, DNS, and cost management.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting Kubernetes clusters, including networking, ingress, storage, autoscaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Proficient knowledge of Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm in production settings.

• Experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (experience with Argo CD is an advantage).

• Strong understanding of Linux and networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS) coupled with exceptional troubleshooting skills.

• Experience in participating in on-call rotations and managing production incidents using tools such as PagerDuty.
