DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Linux System Administration.

• Experience as a Release / DevOps engineer is advantageous.

• Familiarity with DevOps principles.

• Proficient in docker containerization and orchestration tools.

• Experience in setting up and administering Kubernetes.

• Management of Kubernetes clusters in both cloud and on-premise settings.

• Skills in configuring and deploying applications on Kubernetes.

• Ability to scale and optimize Kubernetes clusters.

• Knowledge of securing Kubernetes clusters.

• Expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.

• Strong understanding of Ansible, Terraform, and AWS.

• Proficient in scripting with Python and Bash.

• Experience in reducing recovery time through quicker deployment lead times.

• Experience managing DNS services.

• Familiarity with tools and best practices for monitoring and logging in an on-premise environment, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

• Upper-intermediate or advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Advantageous: Experience with Talos Linux for on-premise Kubernetes management.

• Experience with pfSense.

• Knowledge of MetalLB and the BGP Protocol.

• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or TeamCity.

• A service provider mindset.

• Experience in establishing multi-team software integration and developing automation tools like Maven.
