DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Provision and oversee infrastructure as code with Terraform.

• Manage configurations using Ansible.

• Containerize and orchestrate applications through Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Automate operational processes with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.

• Establish monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

• Operate and enhance workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment, reliability, and security.

• Troubleshoot, monitor, and document both new and existing infrastructure.

• Engage in a multi-stage hiring process that may involve phone and video interviews as well as a take-home exercise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient scripting abilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and comfortable working with YAML.

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices using Terraform.

• Experience in configuration management with Ansible.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.

• Proficient understanding of at least one major cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to leverage AI tools for enhanced productivity.

• Bonus: experience spanning multiple cloud platforms.

• Bonus: familiarity with GitOps workflows.

• Bonus: background in security and compliance automation.

• Bonus: experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
