DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and deployment processes for both mobile and web applications.

• Develop and refine GitHub Actions workflows, incorporating automated testing and release verification.

• Manage iOS and Android builds and releases through Expo/EAS, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console.

• Set up and oversee over-the-air updates, versioning strategies, and release environments.

• Facilitate A/B testing frameworks and integrate automated testing solutions.

• Enhance developer tools, Supabase services, and infrastructure that support Next.js and React applications.

• Diagnose build and deployment failures, addressing React Native bugs and user interface issues.

• Assume responsibility for practical engineering tasks as priorities shift.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering with a focus on mobile and web platforms.

• Robust hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Expo, EAS, and React Native.

• Demonstrated experience managing production releases via both App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

• Familiarity with configuring versioning strategies, OTA updates, and A/B testing environments.

• Expertise in Supabase and the Next.js and React ecosystems.

• Capability to make React Native code modifications, including bug fixes and UI enhancements.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities, ownership, and the aptitude to manage shifting priorities within a small startup team.

• Experience in supporting automated end-to-end and integration tests within CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in implementing 3D graphics in mobile applications beyond gaming.

• Experience in developing for hardware sensors or integrating sensor data.

• Significant engineering ownership of delivered cross-platform products.

• Interest in product design, user experience, and software quality.

• Passion for baseball or other sports, particularly in skills training.
