DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mauritius.

📋 Description

• Design, scale, and sustain infrastructure utilizing automation and configuration management tools.

• Work alongside development and security teams to create and execute robust, scalable services.

• Oversee service health and react to incidents effectively.

• Maintain high levels of availability and performance.

• Establish continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Perform post-incident evaluations and implement preventive strategies.

• Enhance system performance through capacity planning techniques.

• Contribute to groundbreaking applications within the data security sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Strong grasp of cloud and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.

• Extensive experience in Linux/Unix administration.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of Terraform and Helm charts.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.

• Awareness of ISO 27001 and GDPR standards.

• Understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices.

• A problem-solving attitude that emphasizes reliability and availability.

• Must currently reside in Mauritius.
