This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsibilities in DevOps encompass the establishment and upkeep of online distribution repositories.
• Creating Linux-based packages and patches is a key function.
• Developing and evaluating end-user installation methodologies is essential.
• Streamlining build and deployment processes through automation is required.
• Participation in the development, operation, and maintenance of DevSecOps processes, tools, and an automation pipeline is expected.
• The DevSecOps environment must support the design, implementation, deployment, and execution of automated tests.
• Ongoing exploration of new technologies to enhance productivity, quality, user-friendliness, and maintainability is a priority.
• Automation of DevOps pipelines, software builds, and software testing is expected.
• Creation and upkeep of automation deployment and monitoring scripts is part of the role.
• Development and maintenance of security controls and systems is necessary.
• Management of virtualized and containerized assets is part of the responsibilities.
• Configuration of virtual and physical networks, servers, communications, and support for test and developer engineering is required.
• Involvement in the creation and deployment of Linux software packages, as well as the maintenance of the online distribution repository, is necessary.
• Designing, integrating, testing, and initially deploying a range of applications within an enterprise Kubernetes environment using contemporary tools and practices is expected.
• Responsibility for creating infrastructure as code environments for intricate virtualized networks is required.
• Training others to carry out similar DevSecOps and automation responsibilities is part of the job.
• Maintenance and promotion of content to support a corporate knowledge library is essential.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in DevOps is required.
• 8570 IAT Level II certification is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps Pipelines is essential.
• Experience with Kubernetes and general practices related to containerization development, security, deployment, and management is needed.
• Proficiency in using GitLab/Bitbucket code repositories and automation testing platforms (like Jenkins and Zypher) is required.
• Experience in implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, or IT/Security automation that supports multiple teams is necessary.
• Knowledge and capability to implement DevSecOps using best practices for private and commercial cloud, as well as private and hybrid cloud design, operation, monitoring, and deployment, is required.
