DevOps Consultant – Cloud & Geo Solutions, GIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Integration of ArcGIS services including ArcGIS REST API, ArcGIS JS SDK, Feature Layers, and Map Services.

• Development and ongoing maintenance of modern, responsive web applications utilizing React (Hooks, Context API, Tailwind).

• Collaborating with backend developers and business units to create interfaces (REST, GraphQL).

• Implementing client-side authentication (OAuth 2.0, OIDC) and authorization (Open Policy Agent).

• Conducting code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality and maintainability.

• Managing external assets in file storage services (utilizing minio/S3), enabling upload, download, and file management functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the German language at a C2 level.

• Several years of professional experience across various design phases of IT projects or with Microsoft Azure.

• Solid understanding of essential DevOps technologies.

• Experience in establishing and developing CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with geographic information systems (ArcGIS or equivalent).

• Capability to comprehend client objectives and motivations and translate them into suitable solution concepts.
