DevOps & Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic DevOps & Cloud Engineer.

• You will assist our clients in creating and sustaining operational infrastructure (GitOps, Kubernetes, Linux, Apache, Java applications) and in managing applications on a cloud platform.

• As a versatile member of a cross-functional team, you will develop features across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.

• You will be actively engaged in the complete development process and enhance the CI/CD pipeline utilizing GitLab CI, Kubernetes, and cloud services.

• You will perform code reviews and participate in pair programming to enhance quality and disseminate knowledge.

• You will design and implement cloud strategies and architectures to guarantee the scalability and reliability of our applications.

• You will monitor and improve the performance and security of our clients' cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree or equivalent training in computer science.

• Experience in designing and implementing DevOps processes, preferably within agile software development projects.

• Hands-on experience with Linux, containers (OCI / Docker), CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins), Git, Ansible, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Ideally, knowledge of administering Java web applications and cloud services.

• Passion for agile methodologies and a desire to continuously explore new technologies and trends, particularly in the cloud domain.

• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level).
