This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of, design, implement, and sustain infrastructure automation solutions for Haemonetics' medical device software platforms.
• Collaborate closely with TechOps, SREs, Cloud Engineers, and Security teams to advance automation initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance, and reliability within a healthcare-regulated environment.
• Lead the development and upkeep of scalable, compliant, and secure infrastructure utilizing CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources across AWS and hybrid environments.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to guarantee traceability and compliance.
• Enhance deployment pipelines with automated testing, security measures, and rollback functionalities.
• Optimize CI/CD workflows to facilitate zero-downtime releases and blue-green deployments.
• Ensure that infrastructure automation adheres to FDA, HIPAA, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304 regulatory requirements.
• Construct self-healing, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure.
• Automate monitoring solutions (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch) to identify anomalies.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and develop cost management strategies.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure automation and DevOps within the medical device, healthcare, or regulated industries.
• 10–15 years of overall IT experience, covering infrastructure, automation, cloud, and enterprise technology solutions.
• Proficient in AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Expertise in all AWS services including EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail, etc.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Highly experienced in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS/EKS.
• Knowledgeable about networking, security, and access control best practices.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks including ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, HIPAA, and IEC 62304.
