This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead and execute production changes (GMUD), deployments, and version updates for each client, encompassing planning, rollback, and results documentation.
• Provide support for Kubernetes clusters by troubleshooting pods, probes, capacity, autoscaling, and upgrades.
• Enhance and maintain the GitOps deployment workflow and manage database migrations using Flyway.
• Address incidents and technical support requests from clients, including performing root cause analysis.
• Oversee certificates, DNS, ingress, and platform components, including Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, and MinIO.
• Manage access and identities within Keycloak, Rancher, GitLab, and VPN environments, ensuring documented approval and least-privilege access.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and securely transfer secrets into a vault.
• Automate recurring tasks and standardize environment configurations.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting systems to identify issues proactively before they impact users.
• Assist with FinOps initiatives, including cost analysis by cluster and rightsizing strategies.
• Utilize AI to expedite operations, always ensuring validation of results.
• Document decisions, runbooks, and completed tasks effectively.
• Practical experience or hands-on training in infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE; suitable for Junior-level candidates.
• Familiarity with Linux and networking concepts (DNS, HTTP, TLS/certificates).
• Experience working with Docker and containers.
• Understanding of Kubernetes, varying by seniority level.
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD practices (GitLab or similar).
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, or similar).
• Scripting or programming skills in Python or Shell.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, or similar).
• Strong written communication skills with a focus on documentation and evidence.
• Daily use of AI technologies.
• Demonstrate ownership, resilience, and composure in high-pressure situations.
• Adopt a security-focused mindset without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Willingness to provide technical leadership, collaborate, and mentor others.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Flux or Argo CD, Kustomize/Helm, Rancher, Flyway, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Java/JVM in containers, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, Terraform/IaC, Vault, External Secrets, security tools integrated into the delivery pipeline, CKA/CKAD/CKS/OCI/AWS certifications, experience in regulated or public-sector environments, and applying AI to operational tasks.
