This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Oversee a team of Python developers, ensuring that goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their technical skills and professional development.
• Promote engineering excellence by advocating for best practices in coding, architecture, and testing methodologies.
• Strategically plan and manage team capacity, sprints, and milestones to guarantee reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Development Managers, Architects, and Product Owners to synchronize engineering efforts with business goals.
• Ensure the effective implementation and practice of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) within the team.
• Contribute to the advancement of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading Scrum teams with a strong understanding of Agile practices.
• Extensive technical proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with microservices, distributed architectures, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses, and message queues (RabbitMQ).
• Expertise in Test Driven Development, along with unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, attention to detail, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• An analytical mindset with a strong ability to lead by example.
• Capability to inspire and mentor others while leading by example.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and contemporary DevOps practices.
• Experience working in AWS/Azure cloud environments.
