Development Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of Python developers, ensuring that they are aligned on objectives, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members to facilitate their technical and professional development.

• Promote engineering excellence by advocating for best practices in coding, architecture, and testing.

• Organize and manage team capacity, sprints, and milestones to guarantee predictable delivery outcomes.

• Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Development Managers, Architects, and Product Owners to ensure that engineering efforts align with business goals.

• Ensure the effective implementation and practice of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) within the team.

• Contribute to the advancement of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in commercial software development.

• More than 2 years of experience leading Scrum teams with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Deep technical knowledge in Python and object-oriented programming.

• Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem.

• Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses, and message queues (RabbitMQ).

• Skilled in Test Driven Development, along with unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Outstanding communication, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational, and leadership abilities.

• Possess an analytical mindset with a talent for leading by example.

• Capability to inspire, mentor, and demonstrate leadership through actions.

• **Nice to Have**

• Experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and contemporary DevOps practices.

• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments.

• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
