Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of full-stack developers specializing in C#, .NET Core, and Vue.js.

• Perform code reviews and set coding standards to ensure code quality, scalability, and security are upheld.

• Work closely with Product Owners to clarify requirements, estimate workload, and prioritize deliverables for each sprint.

• Manage and coordinate third-party vendors and offshore teams to guarantee aligned execution and technical coherence.

• Define and implement development processes, including branching strategies, CI/CD, and QA/testing protocols.

• Oversee release management to guarantee seamless deployment across staging and production environments hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to enhance performance, scalability, and infrastructure within GCP.

• Advocate for and promote the use of AI-assisted coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, or similar platforms) to accelerate development output and improve team productivity.

• Monitor project health through key performance indicators including sprint velocity, defect rates, and on-time delivery metrics.

• Cultivate a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.

• Strong technical proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SQL Server, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred).

• Experience in leading or contributing to enterprise-level SaaS or marketing platforms.

• Proficient with Git, DevOps practices, Jira, and agile development methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors or offshore teams, balancing speed with quality.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to bridge discussions between business and technical teams.
