Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of full-stack developers specializing in C#, .NET Core, and Vue.js.

• Perform code reviews and set coding standards to uphold code quality, scalability, and security.

• Work closely with Product Owners to clarify requirements, estimate efforts, and prioritize sprint tasks.

• Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors and offshore teams to ensure synchronized execution and technical coherence.

• Define and implement development processes, including branching strategies, CI/CD, and QA/testing methodologies.

• Oversee release management to guarantee seamless deployment across staging and production environments hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to enhance performance, scalability, and infrastructure within GCP.

• Promote the adoption of AI-assisted coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, or similar platforms) to accelerate development output and improve team productivity.

• Monitor project health using KPIs like sprint velocity, defect rates, and on-time delivery metrics.

• Cultivate a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and ongoing learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• More than 7 years of professional software development experience, including over 2 years in a leadership or management position.

• Strong technical knowledge in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SQL Server, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred).

• Experience leading or contributing to enterprise-level SaaS or marketing platforms.

• Skilled in Git, DevOps, Jira, and agile development methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors or offshore teams, balancing efficiency with quality.

• Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to connect business and technical discussions.
