Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee software engineering teams, technical systems, and integrations throughout the organization.

• Collaborate closely with the Project Team to create customer-oriented, internal, and B2B software products.

• Foster a positive team culture and prioritize employee wellbeing.

• Define the technical vision for the Development Team to align with upcoming product and business objectives.

• Manage continuous product delivery within a legacy system while tackling technical debt and modernizing infrastructure.

• Work alongside the Project Team on roadmap development, prioritization, and scope discussions.

• Promote the adoption of best practices within the team and guide them to address issues as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software development or a related field.

• More than 5 years in leadership or engineering management positions, with direct oversight of personnel.

• Proven experience in scaling a development team in a growth-stage company to a medium scale.

• Technical knowledge of our core technology stack (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, JS frameworks, MySQL/MariaDB).

• A history of spearheading company-wide technical enhancement initiatives.

• Experience serving as a leader within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of effectively engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Background in transforming development workflows to incorporate AI tools within a legacy environment.
