Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of grant writing, encompassing research, proposal creation, tracking, and fulfilling reporting obligations.

• Assist in the design and establishment of a new mid-sized individual donor program.

• Contribute to the cultivation and stewardship of both institutional and individual prospects.

• Collaborate with the Development Marketing Specialist to develop multi-channel fundraising campaigns.

• Directly oversee the Development Marketing Specialist.

• Aid in fundraising and legal compliance associated with Hip Hop Caucus's C3/C4 structure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit development.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficiency in a CRM/fundraising database (EveryAction/NGP VAN is strongly preferred).

• Exceptional writing and proofreading capabilities.

• Understanding of digital fundraising channels.

• Comfort with financial data and reconciliation processes.
