Developer Relations, Community Manager – APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the community strategy for OpenClaw's developers.

• Enhance contributor involvement in Foundation projects.

• Design onboarding experiences tailored for developers, researchers, and maintainers.

• Create community programs that promote active participation and long-term engagement.

• Cultivate a contributor culture that is inclusive and welcoming.

• Establish recognition programs for contributors, ambassadors, and community leaders.

• Assist with community governance projects as the Foundation expands.

• Act as a public advocate for OpenClaw and the larger open-agent ecosystem.

• Build connections with developers, researchers, AI experts, and ecosystem collaborators.

• Gather community feedback and relay insights to maintainers and Foundation leadership.

• Help influence project priorities based on the needs of developers and trends in the ecosystem.

• Represent OpenClaw at conferences, hackathons, podcasts, webinars, and other industry events.

• Create high-quality content that aids developers in building with OpenClaw.

• Promote community engagement through local and global events and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Community Management, Open Source Program Management, or similar roles.

• Proficient in English and either Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean.

• Proven experience in building and scaling technical communities.

• In-depth knowledge of open-source development and contributor workflows.

• Strong understanding of GitHub-based collaboration models.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in crafting technical content for developer audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to establish trust with engineers, maintainers, researchers, and community leaders.

• Solid project management and organizational capabilities.

• At ease in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
