Developer Intern, Service Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop Go code for shared, production-quality library packages, including observability (logging and tracing), configuration, HTTP servers/handlers/clients, and gRPC.

• Engage in feature design, implementation, documentation, and the deployment of code to production.

• Produce clean, well-tested Go code complete with clear documentation comments, runnable examples, and changelog entries, enabling other teams to confidently build upon your contributions.

• Collaborate within an inner-source framework, providing and receiving timely feedback through code reviews and design documents alongside contributors from various teams across the organization.

• Actively participate in team activities, including standups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and design discussions.

• - Contributions to open source, whether through projects, issue filing, or maintaining a public repository.

• - Interest in or experience with developer experience and platform engineering, including the creation of libraries, SDKs, and tools relied upon by other developers.
