This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Develop technical content including tutorials, in-depth blog articles, reference materials, video guides, and demonstrations.

• Present publicly through conference presentations, webinars, meetups, podcasts, and livestreams.

• Participate in open source initiatives by contributing to communities such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and others.

• Engage with the Percona community by being active on platforms like the Percona Forum, Discord, GitHub, and during events.

• Represent Percona's open source database solutions portfolio.

• Facilitate communication between field insights and Product/Engineering teams.

• Collaborate with various teams including Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support.

• Several years of experience in a hands-on technical position—engineering, DBA, SRE, solutions architecture, developer advocacy, or a related field.

• Excellent writing abilities to articulate complex technical subjects clearly.

• Experience in public speaking or a strong desire to improve this skill.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Rust.

• Familiarity with the functioning of open source communities.

• Willingness to travel approximately 10–50% of the time.
