This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Project Engineers, Product Engineers, and Engineering Technicians in providing top-tier engineering services.
• Design and detail structural repairs for utility structures along with their respective foundations.
• Conduct drafting, verification, and generate material lists for both steel and concrete repairs.
• Establish and implement standard drawing practices for utilization by engineers and other drafters.
• Develop training courses and materials for new hires.
• Create detailed plans for Pole Restoration repairs, tools, and equipment.
• Provide support for Osmose's core business units.
• Contribute to additional projects and plans not explicitly mentioned to help the Company achieve its financial goals.
• Must have current authorization to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
• An Associate's Degree in a technical field (such as drafting and design) from an accredited institution.
• Experience in detailing utility structures while working within (1) a utility, (2) an engineering and utility contractor, or (3) a utility structure fabricator.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software, both 2D and 3D.
• Familiarity with PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, or other utility structure modeling programs is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers.
• Capable of drafting technical documents with appropriate style and grammar.
• Demonstrates self-motivation and strong character.
