Design System Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the vision, roadmap, and governance of Purse.

• Establish and maintain high standards for components, tokens, patterns, and accessibility.

• Promote adoption and evaluate system value through collaborations with Design Ops and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing the vision and roadmap of a large-scale design system.

• Capability to balance a bold long-term vision with practical, milestone-oriented execution.

• Strong product intuition applied within a design system context.

• Experience in defining and refining governance models for design systems.

• A successful history of establishing and maintaining quality standards.

• Comfort in making decisions regarding tooling and infrastructure.

• Practical experience with design components, tokens, and patterns.

• Deep expertise in design systems combined with strong technical knowledge.

• Proven ability to encourage system adoption through compelling narratives.

• Excellent collaboration skills with design, engineering, and product leadership.

• Language proficiency: English and French.
