This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java applications and microservices by applying best practices in architecture, software engineering, quality, performance, and security;
• Design, implement, and evolve REST APIs, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to technical and functional requirements;
• Create and maintain automated tests, contributing to the quality of solutions and promoting a testing culture throughout the development cycle;
• Investigate and resolve issues in development, staging, and integration environments, conducting technical analyses and proposing effective solutions;
• Collaborate in the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, automations, and development environments, enhancing the adoption of DevOps practices;
• Actively participate in code reviews, technical refinements, architecture definitions, and agile ceremonies, providing analysis, suggestions, and best practices;
• Utilize Git and adhere to best practices in versioning, code review, and development;
• Leverage modern Artificial Intelligence tools, such as Kiro and other development support solutions, integrating these technologies into workflows to enhance productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency;
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams, engaging in technical meetings in English and producing technical documentation as needed;
• Share knowledge, support the technical development of the team, and contribute to the continuous evolution of products, processes, and engineering practices;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Experience in:
• - Software development using Java, object-oriented programming, and the Spring Boot framework;
• - Developing REST APIs and microservices-based applications;
• - Automated testing (JUnit / Mockito) with a focus on promoting quality from the early stages of development;
• - Relational databases (SQL);
• - CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions;
• - Git and best practices in versioning and code review;
• - Docker and Kubernetes;
• Knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle, including development, testing, integration, and continuous delivery;
• Interest in expanding skills in DevOps, automation, observability, and Software Engineering;
• Proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence tools to support development, enhancing productivity and quality of deliverables;
• Advanced English for communication with global teams and participation in technical meetings;
• Activities may be carried out in a telecommuting “Home Office” arrangement.
