This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Design and develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs

• Implement business logic adhering to clean architecture principles

• Optimize the performance of applications and databases

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code

• Actively participate in code reviews and pair programming

• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams

• Implement security measures and best practices

• Document technical solutions and data flows

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 years of proven experience in backend development with Node.js

• Experience working in agile teams

• Backend technologies: Node.js, Express.js, NestJS

• Programming language: TypeScript (advanced level)

• Testing framework: Jest

• Architecture: Design patterns, SOLID principles

• Databases: SQL and NoSQL

• Version control: Git, GitHub (branching strategies)

• Code analysis: ESLint, SonarQube, quality metrics

• Security: Secret management, authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth 2.0)

• Containers: Docker

• Agile methodologies

• Generative AI: Experience with AI pair programmers (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor)

• CI/CD

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (preferred)

• Experience with microservices architecture (preferred)

• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka) (preferred)

• Experience with cloud services (Azure, GCP) (preferred)

• Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (preferred)

• Experience with observability (logging, monitoring, tracing) (preferred)
