Derivatives Trader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• In the role of Trader for OTC Derivatives, you will apply your trading expertise in both digital and traditional asset classes to enhance a premier trading platform.

• Formulate, implement, and oversee trading strategies specifically for digital asset derivatives.

• Drive profitability and growth while adhering to rigorous risk management protocols.

• Construct and optimize trading infrastructure, develop innovative models, and establish robust processes to support the advancement and success of our derivatives business.

• Collaborate closely with global team members to ensure smooth market operations.

• Work alongside engineering and quantitative teams to improve trading infrastructure and enhance execution quality and risk management systems.

• Deliver market insights and analysis to internal stakeholders and assist in generating client-facing materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in trading derivatives, including options, forwards, and structured products.

• Previous sell-side derivatives trading experience at a financial institution and professional cryptocurrency experience are highly regarded.

• Solid understanding of derivatives pricing, risk management, and market structure.

• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, coding proficiency, and a keen eye for detail.

• Experience in quantitative modeling and data analysis using Python, R, or other programming languages.

• Proven ability to work with complex financial models, analyze datasets, and extract actionable insights to inform trading decisions.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to risk management.

• A curious mindset and a strong eagerness to learn about cryptocurrency markets.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-feedback trading environment.

• A cooperative team player demonstrating high levels of accountability in their roles.
