This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
β’ Take full ownership of business development for derivatives in the APAC region, managing everything from client origination to negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing account management to enhance trading volumes.
β’ Implement targeted sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue among VIP clients, high-volume crypto-native traders, and institutional accounts.
β’ Establish and sustain a well-organized pipeline in CRM, ensuring consistent tracking, timely follow-ups, and transparent reporting related to revenue and volume objectives.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, compliance, and operations teams to provide client-focused solutions tailored for the APAC markets.
β’ Represent Coinbase at client meetings, industry events, and conferences throughout the region as a senior market ambassador.
β’ Influence Coinbase's competitive stance and product roadmap by gathering and disseminating market intelligence derived from client engagements and regional trends.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in derivatives sales, trading, or business development at a top-tier financial institution, cryptocurrency exchange, or fintech, with a focus on APAC markets.
β’ Demonstrated success in client origination with established relationships among VIP derivatives traders (in crypto or traditional finance) in APAC, evidenced by measurable revenue or volume growth in previous positions.
β’ Extensive understanding of derivatives market structure, various product types (such as perpetuals, options, futures), and risk management principles sufficient to advise sophisticated trading clients.
β’ Proven track record of independently closing complex, high-value deals and consistently surpassing revenue or volume targets.
β’ Willingness to travel within the APAC region (up to approximately 30%) and proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
β’ Responsible use of generative AI, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and achieve measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
β’ Total compensation may also encompass equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).
