Derivative Sales Analyst, Prosumer Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with leading prosumer derivatives traders on Coinbase, aiming to increase trading volume, deepen engagement, and broaden the adoption of advanced trading products.

• Identify and attract new high-value derivatives traders from competitor platforms through targeted outreach, highlighting Coinbase's liquidity, fees, user experience, and managing the entire sales process.

• Analyze the derivatives market structure, client activities, and competitor offerings to pinpoint upselling opportunities, provide insights on pricing and product suggestions, and communicate structured insights to Product, Risk, and Marketing teams.

• Keep an accurate pipeline and forecast for your portfolio, reporting on essential KPIs (volume, active traders, winbacks, competitor migration) and documenting client interactions using CRM tools.

• Re-engage previously inactive top traders through data-driven account assessments, personalized outreach, and customized incentives to restore consistent trading volume.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of sales or business development experience in financial services, trading, or cryptocurrency, with a proven record of meeting or surpassing revenue and volume objectives.

• Strong knowledge of derivatives products (futures, options, perpetual contracts, margin) in both traditional finance and crypto markets, including their practical application by active traders.

• A data-driven approach with experience in utilizing dashboards, CRMs, and basic analytics to segment client portfolios, recognize opportunities, and prioritize outreach activities.

• Educational background in business, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent hands-on experience working directly with trading clients.

• Possession of a Series 3 License is required, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.

• A pre-existing portfolio of high-value prosumer or retail derivatives clients is preferred.

• Responsible use of generative AI, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and enhance workflow efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
