Deputy Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Senior Program Director in planning, executing, and delivering projects.

• Oversee daily project operations and coordinate cross-functional teams.

• Evaluate risks and compile reports.

• Keep project documentation and logs updated.

• Monitor project advancement relative to schedule, scope, and budget.

• Create status reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.

• Recognize project risks and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Act as a primary contact for stakeholders and team members.

• Ensure that project deliverables adhere to quality standards.

• Aid in scheduling resources and coordinating with vendors.

• Lead the project in the absence of the Project Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• PMP certification is MANDATORY.

• 3–5+ years of experience in project coordination or management within the Government Tolling/Transportation Industry is MANDATORY.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence/Jira) and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Outstanding organizational, analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively prioritize tasks.

• A keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential for this role.

• Ability to influence without authority and foster strong working relationships.
