Deputy Program Manager

📋 Description

• Assisting in the development of program plans, work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource allocation to support program planning and execution.

• Overseeing project management by monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables.

• Managing risks by identifying and mitigating potential program threats, while tracking the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.

• Communicating program status updates to stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and team members, through regular reports and presentations.

• Leading and supporting project teams by assigning tasks and managing team performance.

• Monitoring program expenditures, identifying cost variances, and implementing measures to control costs.

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and processes throughout the program by collaborating closely with product assurance and mission assurance teams.

• Working alongside contract and procurement teams to manage contracts and ensure adherence to compliance standards.

• Developing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing their expectations, and addressing any concerns that arise.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

• A minimum of 15 years of technical management experience.

• Strong project management capabilities with a background in planning, execution, and monitoring.
