This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide overall project management support at both the IDIQ and task order levels, ensuring that contract requirements, deliverables, milestones, and customer commitments are fulfilled.
• Oversee the PMO operational rhythm, which includes kickoff meetings, biweekly progress meetings, leadership reviews, task order assessments, subcontractor evaluations, and internal execution gatherings.
• Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule, detailing task order milestones, dependencies, deliverables, staffing inputs, risks, and key decision points.
• Develop and sustain key program artifacts, including the Project Management Plan, communication strategy, staffing plans, risk register, action-item tracker, deliverables tracker, decision log, change-control documentation, and progress reports.
• Propel task order execution, which encompasses scope validation, resource coordination, schedule monitoring, deliverable tracking, risk management, reporting, and closeout assistance.
• Collaborate with technical leadership and corporate functions to ensure that execution is synchronized, dependencies are transparent, and obstacles are swiftly addressed.
• Partner with Operations to facilitate contract execution requirements, including labor visibility, subcontractor assistance, Other Direct Costs (ODCs), invoicing inputs, staffing, onboarding, and compliance necessities.
• Maintain awareness of program risks, issues, obstacles, decisions, and dependencies; prioritize escalation of items that may impact cost, schedule, quality, compliance, or stakeholder expectations.
• Prepare and assist in customer briefings, monthly progress updates, program reviews, executive dashboards, and other status reports for NOAA and Tomorrow.io leadership.
• Ensure that program records are preserved in authorized systems such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub Projects, or other program management tools.
• Facilitate quality reviews of deliverables prior to submission to NOAA, while fostering a clear, disciplined, and collaborative operational model across Team Tomorrow.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, program management, technical program management, government program execution, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing intricate programs with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, schedules, risks, deliverables, and reporting obligations.
• Familiarity with NOAA’s NWP modeling suites.
• Experience in supporting government contracts, federal programs, task orders, subcontractor coordination, or customer-facing delivery initiatives.
• Strong project management capabilities, including schedule oversight, risk management, action tracking, meeting facilitation, status reporting, and deliverable coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate executive-ready status updates, meeting notes, progress reports, and follow-up communications.
• Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub Projects, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment characterized by ambiguity, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive deliverables.
