This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Represent firm clients by attending and defending asbestos and silica depositions.
β’ Conduct examinations of witnesses as necessary.
β’ Create deposition summaries and reports that are clear, concise, and timely.
β’ Analyze testimonies to pinpoint key issues related to liability, causation, and damages.
β’ Collaborate with case teams to develop deposition strategies and provide follow-up recommendations.
β’ Undertake additional litigation appearances, hearings, or related tasks as required.
β’ Must hold an active license to practice law in at least one of the following states: California, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania.
β’ Previous deposition experience is a necessity.
β’ Preferred experience in handling asbestos, silica, toxic tort, product liability, or other intricate civil litigation cases.
β’ Strong preference for candidates with defense-side deposition experience.
β’ Excellent analytical, writing, and communication capabilities are essential.
β’ Should be able to work independently while meeting reporting deadlines.
β’ Must possess a professional, client-oriented demeanor with a keen attention to detail.
