This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Efficiently resolve incoming cases related to portal access, password resets, and EFT/ERA enrollment, ensuring a high daily case throughput.
• Handle intricate, externally dependent portal build cases, including those that necessitate assistance from payers or vendors, persistently following up until access is obtained.
• Engage in frequent calls and live chats with insurance payer support lines and portal help desks to rectify access errors and expedite stalled cases.
• Act as a primary point of contact for practice staff dealing with portal or login challenges, providing friendly service and taking ownership of the process and outcomes until resolution is achieved.
• Oversee team inboxes by promptly triaging and responding to incoming requests, directing them to the appropriate owner when necessary.
• Accurately track and document all case activities, call outcomes, and follow-up commitments within Salesforce, ensuring timeliness.
• Assist community partner requests that necessitate research-based vetting and coordination.
• Contribute to Secret Server rollout tasks, which include secure credential entry and verification for designated practices.
• Identify and report recurring payer-side issues, portal outages, or trends to management.
• Ensure the confidentiality of all PHI and login credentials, adhering to security protocols at all times.
• A minimum of one to two years of experience in a dynamic, customer-facing role that involves live problem-solving, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
• Quick learner capable of adapting to new systems, payer rules, and workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and able to pivot between live requests and ongoing cases while maintaining sharp focus on both.
• Receptive to coaching and feedback, demonstrating the ability to take direction and apply it effectively.
• Clear, warm, and confident verbal communicator in all interactions.
• Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable navigating ambiguous cases.
• Maintains organization and accuracy while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance payer portals (e.g., Availity, UHC, Zelis) is advantageous.
• Experience with Delinea Secret Server or similar secure credential management tools is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
