Dental Implementation & Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate hands-on, role-specific training for dental professionals, including Dental Assistants, Insurance Coordinators, and front office teams on Dentrix Enterprise.

• Instruct teams on insurance processes, treatment planning, case presentations, and membership programs integrated within the system.

• Offer immediate support during the go-live phase, ensuring staff confidence and the continuity of patient care.

• Design and implement training programs customized to meet the specific needs of each practice and the skill levels of their teams.

• Act as a reliable dental subject matter expert, capable of addressing questions related to operations, workflows, and system functionalities.

• Function as the main point of contact for practices throughout the implementation process.

• Set clear expectations, address resistance to change, and navigate challenging conversations with confidence when necessary.

• Gather, prioritize, and resolve issues promptly, ensuring effective communication throughout.

• Provide regular progress updates and escalate risks or concerns as needed.

• Collaborate closely with:

• Dental practices and operational leaders

• IT and Enterprise Project teams

• Practice Technology Support teams

• Third-party dental software and equipment vendors

• Foster strong, collaborative relationships among clinical, administrative, and technical teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a dental office or Dental Service Organization (DSO) is mandatory, with no exceptions.

• Strong comprehension of:

• Dental insurance procedures

• Case acceptance and treatment planning

• Membership programs

• Front and back-office operations

• Prior experience in training or mentoring dental personnel is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across clinical, administrative, and technical teams.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.

• High standards of professionalism, organization, and accountability.
