Demand Writer Support Specialist – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough reviews of medical records, billing statements, and accompanying documentation to ensure demand-ready precision.

• Confirm billing and treatment timelines (including dates, providers, and gaps) and identify documentation discrepancies prior to package assembly.

• Assemble and organize comprehensive demand packages with appropriately labeled supporting exhibits.

• Detect absent records, bills, liens, or essential documents and effectively communicate the requirements needed to finalize the file.

• Efficiently navigate through disorganized or incomplete case files to swiftly and confidently find pertinent documents.

• Uphold consistent standards for exhibit preparation and documentation suitable for attorney review.

• Assist in demand submission processes utilizing demand preparation software (EvenUp or similar).

• Handle multiple active demands simultaneously while adhering to volume and deadline expectations.

• Monitor and update demand tasks and statuses within the case management system to facilitate workflow progression.

• Participate in process enhancements that minimize rework and elevate quality at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in plaintiff personal injury (practical experience rather than academic).

• Direct involvement in drafting PI demand letters/packages (not just aiding an attorney).

• Strong skills in independently reviewing medical records and bills (capable of identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and missing items).

• Experience in preparing demand packages from record intake to final assembly.

• Familiarity with case management systems (Filevine is strongly preferred).

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment with significant backlogs and changing priorities.

• Excellent written English skills for attorney-facing communications.

• Experience with EvenUp or similar demand platforms.

• Knowledge of California PI workflows and demand standards.

• Proven track record of maintaining quality while drafting 15–30+ demands each month.

• Confidence in working independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in creating repeatable checklists/templates to enhance speed and consistency.
