This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and consistently enhance the enterprise demand plan by integrating insights from sales, marketing, and customer data to generate a unified forecast.

• Lead the demand review process as part of the monthly S&OP cycle, promoting cross-functional collaboration among Sales, Operations, and Finance.

• Act as the main point of contact for the Sales team regarding forecast requirements, new product launches, promotions, and demand fluctuations.

• Track forecast accuracy and bias metrics; initiate corrective measures and foster a culture of ongoing improvement in forecasting performance.

• Partner with Supply Planning to ensure that demand signals are converted into viable supply plans and proactively identify demand/supply discrepancies.

• Enhance and maintain demand planning tools, models, and ERP-based forecasting systems; collaborate with the Planning Systems Manager on system upgrades.

• Examine market trends, customer order behaviors, and historical data to refine statistical forecasting models.

• Compile and present demand plan summaries and KPI dashboards to senior leadership during S&OP reviews.

• Assist in new customer onboarding and product launch planning by formulating demand assumptions and ramp-up strategies.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related discipline is necessary.

• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, or S&OP in a manufacturing or industrial context.

• Proven experience in leading or engaging in a formal S&OP process.

• Proficiency with ERP systems is essential; experience with INFOR/SyteLine is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is required for reporting and dashboard utilization.

• APICS CPIM or IBF CPF certification is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools are expected.

• ASCM CPIM certification is preferred.

• A demonstrated ambition in career progression with a history of growth and increasing responsibilities; highly promotable with the potential for broader leadership roles in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
