This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to gain a comprehensive understanding of the demand plan for prioritized customers.
• Spearhead the technical account strategy and execution plan following a technical win for the majority of Databricks use cases within our most strategic clients.
• Serve as the accountable technical leader assigned to specific use cases and customers across various selling teams and internal stakeholders, transforming uncertainty into certainty while driving onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and effective consumption of the workloads chosen by the customer to utilize Databricks.
• Act as the primary contact for any technical inquiries or issues concerning the production/go-live status of agreed-upon use cases within an account, often servicing multiple use cases within the largest and most intricate organizations.
• Utilize Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, and Support resources, while also engaging expert-level technical specialists, to develop the appropriate tasks that exceed your scope of activities or expertise.
• Develop, own, and implement a strategic viewpoint on how key use cases can be expedited into production, coordinating with Professional Services (PS) resources for the delivery of PS Engagement proposals.
• Interact with Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade requirements.
• Formulate an execution plan that encompasses all activities of customer-facing technical roles and teams to address the following work streams:
• Main use cases transitioning from ‘win’ to production.
• Enablement/user growth strategy.
• Product adoption (strategies and activities to enhance the adoption of Databricks’ Lakehouse vision).
• Organic requirements for current investments (e.g., cloud cost control, tuning & optimization).
• Executive and operational governance.
• Deliver internal and external updates - KPI reporting on usage status and customer health, including investment status, critical risks, product adoption, and use case progression - to your Technical GM.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience, demonstrating accountability for technical project/program delivery in the Data and AI domain, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and design decisions with customers.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting position.
• Familiarity with solution architecture related to distributed data systems.
• Understanding of how to attribute business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
• Technical program or project management experience, including accountability for account, stakeholder, and resource management.
• Proven ability to resolve complex and significant escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing the delivery of complex programs/projects.
• A strong track record of exceeding quota, goals, or similar performance targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work history.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as necessary.
