This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Alternative Delivery Project Developer is a key player in facilitating successful collaborative delivery initiatives.
• This role entails managing pursuits that involve the highest levels of risk, ensuring strategic oversight and risk mitigation throughout the process.
• Responsibilities include establishing advantageous commercial frameworks that align with our best practices, thereby protecting both profitability and client satisfaction.
• Utilizing a vast network of contractor relationships, the Collaborative Delivery Developer nurtures and reinforces partnerships essential for the success of integrated projects.
• Engage in pursuit and sales activities, taking charge of increasingly sophisticated tasks while supporting strategic initiatives.
• Assess and evaluate client needs by leveraging a strong understanding of products/services and industry trends.
• Foster and identify pursuit/sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with business units and contractors to build relationships and ensure commercial frameworks for teaming and execution.
• Work alongside senior team members on intricate sales efforts and offer support as necessary.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to aid project delivery and client engagement, with opportunities to lead components of strategic initiatives.
• Assist in formulating and executing operational strategies that bolster market growth and positioning.
• Develop collaborative delivery methodologies and maintain robust engineering and construction delivery systems.
• Conduct risk management activities and ensure all projects comply with established guidelines.
• May also provide support to others with critical or complex sales and, at times, project delivery.
• Assist BC teams and client teams in defining, developing, and implementing various collaborative delivery procurement strategies as a trusted advisor.
• Support Client Service Teams in education and growth related to IPD for targeted clients.
• Comprehend client critical success factors.
• Leverage existing relationships to cultivate a deep understanding of the critical success factors (CSFs) of client organizations, including various departments and employees within the organization.
• Typically requires 10–15 years of experience in infrastructure programs and collaborative delivery.
• Proven expertise in negotiation and sales, with a track record of successfully closing significant deals.
• Strong understanding of commercial frameworks for teaming and execution.
• Proficient in developing and implementing collaborative delivery methodologies.
• Solid grasp of engineering and construction delivery, along with risk management.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to drive market growth and positioning.
• Ability to successfully create new business opportunities, including identifying program, design-build, and owner advisor opportunities; and making informed decisions on pursuing these opportunities.
• Capability to pinpoint suitable new markets for BC’s collaborative delivery services and to devise plans for initiating profitable client relations and projects in these new sectors.
• An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required.
