This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead the effective execution of software, AI, data, and optimization initiatives across Satalia.
• Assist cross-functional teams in planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality results.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, designers, data scientists, and stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate delivery plans along with realistic timelines.
• Take ownership of capacity and resource planning within delivery teams.
• Ensure that work is refined, estimated, sequenced, planned, and monitored effectively.
• Maintain visibility of sprint commitments, ticket progress, dependencies, risks, blockers, ownership, and confidence in delivery.
• Monitor progress and escalate issues such as slippage, ambiguity, unmanaged dependencies, and changes in scope.
• Support the delivery process from discovery and refinement through to building, testing, releasing, and stakeholder communication.
• Plan, test, communicate, and coordinate substantial feature releases.
• Facilitate planning sessions, stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives, showcases, delivery reviews, and team ceremonies.
• Hold teams accountable for adhering to agreed methods of working and delivery commitments.
• Balance priorities, capacity, capabilities, risks, and delivery expectations in collaboration with product and engineering leads.
• Assist with backlog refinement, sprint planning, dependency management, and release planning.
• Identify work that is stuck, unclear, over-scoped, under-estimated, or lacks ownership, and drive towards resolution.
• Coordinate collaboration between product, design, engineering, data science, QA, client, and operational functions.
• Ensure visibility regarding risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Identify blockers and ensure that mitigation actions are assigned and followed through.
• Manage dependencies across teams, stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
• Provide data-informed updates on project health, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery confidence.
• Communicate progress to delivery teams, technical teams, product leaders, senior stakeholders, and clients.
• Manage expectations when there are changes to scope, timelines, capacity, or priorities.
• Promote Lean and Agile methodologies along with continuous improvement.
• Utilize delivery metrics and tools to enhance workflow visibility and effectiveness.
• Enhance planning, estimation, backlog management, delivery reporting, release coordination, and team operating rhythm.
• Foster an environment of inclusivity, belonging, psychological safety, feedback, and team health.
• Advocate for outcome-driven delivery and the creation of meaningful value.
• Strive to make delivery more predictable and reduce ambiguity.
• Demonstrated experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Scrum Master, or a comparable role in a software, data, AI, or tech delivery setting.
• Strong grasp of software delivery processes and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in creating and maintaining delivery plans, sprint plans, or similar delivery artifacts.
• Familiarity with team capacity and resource planning.
• Capability to manage backlogs, dependencies, risks, blockers, team commitments, and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams from discovery or product handover through to delivery.
• Ability to operate at the ticket level and understand ownership, blockers, and delivery timelines.
• Experience managing delivery in a live product environment.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong facilitation skills across planning sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, showcases, and delivery reviews.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar delivery tools.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies in a software/product delivery context.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
• A collaborative yet assertive approach, with confidence in holding individuals accountable constructively.
• Passionate about technology, people, and achieving valuable outcomes.
• Desirable: experience in consultancy, agency, enterprise, start-up, scale-up, or client-facing delivery roles.
• Desirable: experience in delivering AI, data science, optimization, platform, SaaS, or complex software products.
• Desirable: knowledge of Lean, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Desirable: experience with delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, lead time, burndown, predictability, or flow metrics.
• Desirable: experience in release planning, implementation planning, deployment coordination, and go-live readiness.
• Desirable: understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, testing, environments, observability, data pipelines, or security.
• Desirable: CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be able to engage with technical teams confidently and navigate technical uncertainties.
