Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establishing trusted relationships with agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Keeping situational awareness of priorities, risks, and developments within the client landscape.

• Facilitating stakeholder alignment across various teams.

• Clearly communicating progress, obstacles, and risks to partners.

• Coordinating planning and delivery activities across projects or workstreams within client engagements.

• Monitoring milestones, risks, and dependencies across teams.

• Assisting in team ceremonies such as standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions.

• Proactively identifying and resolving issues that could hinder progress.

• Organizing high-level initiatives into structured workstreams and deliverables.

• Aiding in staffing coordination and workload management across projects.

• Ensuring visibility into project commitments and timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience managing work delivery in a similar role, particularly in highly regulated or complex industries.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.

• Proven ability to deliver results in ambiguous settings.

• Capability to ask insightful questions and adapt to changes, especially regarding client needs and capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience in consulting services or government digital services is advantageous.

• Background in developing products and services for all users, regardless of ability, informed by knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508 Refresh/WCAG 2.1 A and AA).

• Understanding of popular web development technologies, third-party applications, and platforms.

• Proficiency with ticketing/issue management systems like GitHub and Atlassian Jira/Confluence, or similar tools.

• Acquainted with popular productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion.

• Ability to work efficiently, sometimes under tight deadlines.

• Preference for transparency and the capacity to communicate directly and openly.

• Ability to quickly adapt and manage temporarily ambiguous situations as requirements evolve.
