Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of delivery for a software product engineering and managed capacity engagement with a Kyndryl client.

• Develop and manage the delivery framework encompassing communications, reporting, governance, escalation, change control, status tracking, and procedural coordination.

• Assist in capacity planning and resource alignment across various domains including engineering, customer experience, customer success, software development, cloud implementation, safety certification, technical support, and project/program workstreams.

• Facilitate onboarding, access readiness, training dependencies, knowledge transfer, transition activities, and ensure resource continuity.

• Monitor delivery progress, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, planned activities, completed activities, and provide recommendations.

• Serve as the escalation point for delivery-related service impacts and unresolved issues.

• Function within a customer-controlled delivery model, where the customer maintains ownership of the backlog, prioritization, workflows, tooling, compliance frameworks, and platform governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading delivery teams and providing quality services to customers.

• Strong understanding of Kyndryl competencies, managed platforms, IT services, and technology vendors.

• Proven experience in guiding teams through incident, problem and change management, along with root cause analysis.

• Ability to collaborate with Delivery Partner(s) and engage with SREs to achieve positive customer outcomes.

• Hands-on knowledge of AIOps, with a focus on automation and an innovative mindset.

• Proficient in direct and continuous interaction with customers.

• Supportive and empowering delivery resource manager, dedicated to fostering growth.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Possession of Six Sigma, PMP, and/or ITIL certifications is preferred.
