Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create detailed project plans for life and annuity initiatives, encompassing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, objectives, and deliverables.

• Update project plans utilizing work breakdown structures, product backlogs, sprint backlogs, project and program charters, scope definitions, schedules, and resource requirements.

• Utilize expertise in life insurance and annuity products to inform requirements, design, and execution.

• Oversee cross-functional team members and subject matter experts, including managing objectives, execution monitoring, and performance assessment.

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and vendors; deliver project updates and resolve issues.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and company policies.

• Identify project risks and formulate strategies for mitigation.

• Monitor and control project budgets.

• Ensure the quality of project deliverables.

• Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and change requests.

• Inspire and lead project teams while providing strategic insights and business acumen.

• Address and resolve project-related issues and challenges.

• Spearhead AI initiatives by identifying opportunities for AI automation and analytics, collaborating with data science and engineering teams, and integrating AI solutions into LifePRO, LDS, portals, and operational systems.

• Facilitate digital transformation, enhance efficiency, and deliver measurable business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• 5–10 years of experience in managing technology projects.

• Proven track record as a Delivery Manager specializing in life insurance and annuity product implementation and third-party administrator operations.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects within the insurance sector.

• Strong skills in project management, leadership, and communication.

• Proficient in project management software and tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of life insurance and annuity products, along with industry regulations and best practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across different departments.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Agile/Scrum certification and/or PMI certification is preferred.
