Delivery Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Compile and distribute monthly and quarterly CO2/ocean procurement reports for a client portfolio, transforming raw data into final deliverables.

• Assist new clients during API onboarding — from the initial call to successful integration — ensuring they grasp the data model and maximize our offerings.

• Develop and sustain automation workflows (scripts, AI-powered tools, API integrations) that minimize manual effort in data preparation.

• Integrate internal systems, client data streams, and third-party tools to ensure seamless delivery pipelines.

• Detect data quality problems, investigate discrepancies, and implement solutions — at the source whenever feasible.

• Actively monitor for issues within your client portfolio and address them before they escalate; when problems arise, you take charge of the investigation and resolution.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor to clients on API usage — evaluating their queries on our endpoints, identifying underutilized features, and recommending improved strategies that enhance their value.

• Deliver reports and methodologies to clients during regular reviews, clearly addressing technical inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to identify patterns and relay client insights back into the platform.

• Document your processes to enable team scalability of your developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in engineering or a technical field — comfortable with data, systems, and hands-on problem-solving.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred) — while you don’t need to be a full-stack developer, you should be capable of writing code that addresses real challenges.

• Proven ability to utilize AI tools for automating repetitive tasks, cleaning and transforming data, and expediting workflows.

• Experience in connecting systems: APIs, webhooks, no-code/low-code solutions, or custom integrations.

• A proactive mindset regarding client issues — you don’t wait for a ticket to indicate something is malfunctioning.

• Client-facing experience: capable of presenting technical outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders and confidently addressing challenging questions.

• Fluency in English (French is an advantage).

• Experience within the maritime, logistics, or freight sectors.

• Familiarity with emissions accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, GLEC, EU ETS, etc.).

• Experience in delivering reports or data products within a B2B SaaS environment.
