DeFi Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of essential DeFi sectors and technologies to pinpoint market value and high-growth prospects.

• Perform in-depth analyses of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, and market trends.

• Develop comprehensive investment memos and financial models for prospective investments.

• Keep track of market trends and spot emerging opportunities within the DeFi ecosystem.

• Actively generate deal flow across both liquid and venture DeFi investments.

• Establish and maintain connections with founders and operators within the DeFi landscape.

• Evaluate incoming opportunities and assist with pipeline management.

• Participate in industry events and represent the firm alongside founders and colleagues.

• Oversee portfolio company performance and token metrics.

• Prepare regular updates and performance reports for the portfolio.

• Assist portfolio companies with strategic initiatives and research efforts.

• Enhance the firm's perspective on undervalued opportunities in the market.

• Write and publish blog posts and insights on Medium and Twitter.

• Explore liquid opportunities in sectors beyond DeFi.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required; while background is flexible, preference is given to finance or technical (CS, engineering, or equivalent) disciplines.

• In-depth product knowledge of the on-chain DeFi stack is essential.

• Previous investment experience is necessary, ideally in a crypto fund in an investing or trading role; candidates with operational experience from product or technical roles at DeFi projects are also welcome.

• Proven ability to formulate investment theses and execute them, with demonstrated experience in DeFi investments.

• Outstanding research and communication skills; must be data-driven and capable of distilling findings into actionable recommendations.

• A self-motivated individual who can work independently.
