Decentralized Water Systems Training Partner – Wells & Septic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative for a training provider, public health agency, cooperative extension, nonprofit, or employer that supports well and septic professionals.

• Collaborate in the design of educational programs and training for decentralized water workers.

• Identify target areas, typically rural, and establish pathways for trainees.

• Assist in the documentation of partnerships for collaborative proposals as agreed upon.

• Provide guidance on credentials, safety measures, and public health competencies relevant to the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with private well, septic, or decentralized water training or service delivery.

• Affiliation with an organization that can host or co-deliver training sessions.

• Commitment to time-limited collaboration.

• Authorization to work with a research organization based in the U.S.

• Flexibility for full-time employment or project-based contract opportunities.

• Primarily remote work with travel required for partnership and field activities.

• Connections to state onsite or wastewater certification programs (preferred).

• Experience with rural or tribal community outreach (preferred).

• Established trainee placements in decentralized water jobs (preferred).
