This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Acquire extensive knowledge of Datadog’s licensing and pricing strategies to assist in deal structuring and provide quoting support to our global sales teams.
• Be an innovative problem solver who effectively addresses customer needs while complying with Datadog’s sales policies.
• Address customer satisfaction concerns following the execution of deals.
• Engage in direct negotiations with customers as necessary.
• Collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management.
• Serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for Sales regarding deal pricing issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, protocols, and business regulations.
• A minimum of 4 years of overall experience in areas such as sales operations, finance, sales strategy, and sales enablement.
• At least 2 years of experience in deal structuring and quoting for complex SaaS transactions within a rapidly growing multinational organization.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles.
• Must be adept at representing the company during negotiations and resolving customer satisfaction challenges.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong quantitative abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
