This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage and record incoming commission payments, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and wire transactions.
• Prepare and distribute Back to Vendor (BV), Return of Deposit (RTD), garnishment, and commission checks and EFTs.
• Process incoming trust direct deposits and wire transactions, issuing receipts to agents as necessary.
• Follow up on closing confirmations and assist in facilitating the closure of trades.
• Serve as the main point of contact for agents, co-op brokerages, and lawyers inquiring about payment statuses via calls and emails.
• Collaborate closely with the Deal Administrator team to ensure timely payments to agents and co-op brokerages.
• Verify and print final trade sheets for accuracy prior to final filing.
• Contribute to any additional tasks required by the team to ensure deals progress smoothly.
• Previous experience in real estate trust accounting, brokerage administration, or a comparable finance/admin position.
• Proficiency with the processes involved in commission payments, trust deposits, and cheque/EFT processing.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with an ability to notice discrepancies that others might overlook.
• Capability to manage multiple deals at various stages without compromising on any of them.
• Knowledge of RECO, REBBA, and Ontario brokerage trust regulations is advantageous.
