DBA – Reliability and Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee large-scale PostgreSQL instances and conduct performance optimization.

• Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB replica sets.

• Manage Redis installations to support caching requirements.

• Use Dynatrace for monitoring the health of databases.

• Automate the provisioning and configuration processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with PostgreSQL.

• At least 3 years of experience in managing MongoDB.

• In-depth understanding of MVCC, WAL, and extension management for PostgreSQL.

• Proven track record of managing Redis at scale.

• Practical experience with Dynatrace or comparable Application Performance Management (APM) tools.

• Proficient in Ansible or Terraform, along with scripting capabilities in Python or Bash.

• Advanced command-line skills in Linux/Unix environments.
