Database Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Engage in PL/SQL development and provide code support: develop and maintain PL/SQL code, including functions, procedures, packages, triggers, types, pipeline, and object functions to meet diverse business needs and applications.

• Algorithm assessment: Examine and optimize algorithms to improve database performance and efficiency, ensuring ideal resource usage and scalability.

• Involvement in database structure design: Partner with the team to design and implement database architectures that align with business requirements and facilitate future growth and scalability.

• Performance optimization: Address performance challenges through database tuning, indexing strategies, query enhancement, and other techniques to boost performance.

• Analyze issues in the current codebase: Identify and debug problems in the existing codebase, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to maintain system stability and reliability.

• Collaborate on global projects: Work with cross-functional teams on global initiatives, providing database expertise and support to ensure project success and meet business goals.

• Diligently implement and document solutions: Ensure precise implementation of solutions in accordance with specifications and best practices, maintaining thorough documentation to promote knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

• Demonstrated experience in PL/SQL development and database programming.

• Strong grasp of database concepts, data structures, and algorithms.

• Background in database design, performance tuning, and optimization.

• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.

• Capability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment and juggle multiple priorities.

• Keen attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
