Database Developer – AI-Assisted Data Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement database applications along with intricate data migration solutions.

• Develop data processing and transformation logic utilizing PL/SQL, SQL, and Python.

• Engage with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on data modeling, intricate SQL, and performance enhancement.

• Employ Python for tasks related to data processing, automation, integration of databases, and migration tools.

• Evaluate and enhance complex SQL and PL/SQL applications.

• Architect scalable data models and migration procedures.

• Leverage contemporary AI tools like Claude Code to design, implement, test, and document solutions.

• Sustain and enhance existing applications and migration strategies.

• Collaborate directly with colleagues, partners, and clients.

• Depending on your experience, assume responsibility for project management, requirements analysis, and client communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.

• Extensive experience with Oracle databases.

• Background in complex data migration and data transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, especially in SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization, is highly advantageous.

• Practical experience in Python development, preferably in data processing, automation, or database integration.

• Authentic interest in AI-assisted software development and contemporary development tools.

• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to work.

• High level of ownership, self-drive, and discipline.

• Experience with cloud technologies and agile development techniques is a plus.

• Excellent proficiency in German and English.

• Permanent residence in or near Bratislava, Slovakia.
