Data Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage and collaborate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of technological solutions with assigned Agile teams.

• Partner with domain leadership and enterprise architects to comprehend business drivers and capabilities, and to formulate solution designs.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to articulate the value and trade-offs of various solution options.

• Participate in the establishment of enterprise architecture standards and assess delivered solutions for quality and compliance.

• Work alongside stakeholders during Agile team ceremonies.

• Develop, enhance, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture for strategic initiatives.

• Research and identify the impacts of existing, new, and emerging technologies and trends.

• Engage in governance activities.

• Contribute to the evaluation and resolution of domain-specific architecture challenges.

• Support enterprise and solution architects in developing architecture for interdependent products.

• Leverage existing technology resources through collaboration.

• Comply with risk and regulatory standards, policies, controls, and risk appetite; escalate any risk-related concerns.

• Foster diversity and represent the Bank brand.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant work experience, or alternatively, a combined minimum of 9 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.

• Capability to work and communicate effectively with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

• Experience in software or service engineering and delivery.

• Ability to research and apply contemporary technology trends relevant to technology initiatives.

• Skill in researching, evaluating, and articulating various approaches to solving technical issues.

• Experience in developing and integrating applications using appropriate software architecture principles and patterns.

• A graduate degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

• Experience in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design is preferred.

• Experience in delivering technology and enterprise-level presentations is preferred.

• Experience in an Agile environment is preferred.

• Industry-recognized certification in programming languages and/or cloud technologies is preferred.

• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
